Editing, versions & locked sections
Edit text in place, use AI section actions, lock sections, undo mistakes and restore earlier versions of a page.
The editor shows your page as visitors will see it, with a panel for the selected section. Everything is saved automatically, and almost everything can be undone.
Editing text and media
- Text: double-click any headline or paragraph in the preview to edit it in place, or use the fields in the side panel.
- Images: pick from your media library or upload a new one. Always fill in the alt text — it describes the image to screen readers and search engines.
- Video: paste a YouTube, Vimeo or Wistia link, or upload a video file.
- Buttons and links: each button has a destination — your main offer link, another named link, a specific URL, or a section on the same page.
- Design: change colors, fonts, spacing, corner radius and page width for the whole page, or adjust an individual section’s background and spacing.
Working with sections
Add a section from the block library, then drag to reorder, duplicate or delete it. You can hide a section on phones or on desktops when a layout only makes sense on one. Switch between phone and desktop preview at any time — paid traffic often arrives on a phone, so check that view first.
AI on one section
Select a section to rewrite, shorten, expand or change its tone, or give it a custom instruction. For a single field, such as a headline, ask for alternatives and pick the one you like. You always see the proposal before it replaces your copy. Each action uses one AI section edit from your allowance, and only when it succeeds.
Locked sections
Lock any section you’re happy with. The AI never changes locked sections — not when you regenerate the page, and not when you run actions on other sections. You can still edit a locked section by hand. Common uses: your disclosure, a legally reviewed claim, a testimonial block with real customer quotes.
Autosave, undo and versions
- Changes save automatically a moment after you stop typing.
- Undo and redo step through your recent changes in this session.
- Version history keeps earlier versions of the draft, including the state before each AI generation. Open it to preview an older version and restore it. Restoring creates a new version, so you can always go back again.
- Save a checkpoint with a name (for example “approved by network”) before big changes.
If the same page is open in two tabs and both save, the editor warns you instead of silently overwriting one with the other.
Drafts versus the live page
Editing never changes the live page. When you’re ready, publish again and the live page updates in one step. See Publishing & private previews.
Reusing your work
Duplicate a page to start a new angle from a finished one, or save it as a private template to start future pages from your own layout and design.
