Exporting pages
Download a page as static HTML with its images and fonts, and understand what keeps working outside the service.
You can download any page as a ZIP file and host it anywhere that serves static files — Netlify, Vercel, Cloudflare Pages, S3, cPanel and so on. Use it to move a page, archive a campaign, or keep a copy for your records. Exports are available at any time while your account exists, including after you cancel.
How to export
Open the page, choose the variation you want, and click Export. The ZIP contains:
index.html— the page itself;- an
assetsfolder with the images, videos and fonts it uses, with links rewritten so everything works from one folder; README.txt— a short summary of what works on its own.
Open index.html in a browser to check it, then upload the folder to your host. If a file couldn’t be packaged, it keeps loading from Hooklander and is listed in assets-remote.txt.
What works on its own
- The full layout, copy, styling, images, videos and fonts, on phones and desktops.
- Buttons and links to your offer and other destinations.
- Link tokens and pass-through. A small script in the page fills in
{np_click_id},{np_visitor_id}and your own{param}tokens and appends incoming parameters, just like on the live page. Click ids are generated in the visitor’s browser. - Your own tracking code (pixels, analytics) from the page and workspace settings.
- Your page title, description and social image.
What needs Hooklander
| Feature | In an exported copy |
|---|---|
| Visit and click statistics | Not recorded — visits to the copy don’t appear in your reports |
| Sales attribution | Click ids are still added to links, but because the click isn’t recorded, postbacks can’t be matched to the copy |
| Split tests | The export is one variation; dividing traffic needs the hosted page |
| Lead forms | Submissions keep going to your Hooklander account while your account is active and the page is published there. If you unpublish it or close your account, replace the form with your email provider’s embed code |
| Custom domain and HTTPS | Up to your new host |
Ownership
Your pages and their content belong to you. See ownership, cancellation & refunds for what happens to live pages and data when a subscription ends.
